The residents of Beita’s attempts to confuse occupation forces took on a more organized form, with their “night confusion activities,” coordinated by a group of young men from the area who call themselves “guardians of the mountain,” in reference to Mount Sbeih in the West Bank that is threatened by settlers. The nightly activities, created by the Gazans, seek to confuse and drain the enemy forces by pushing them to be on standby in several areas at once. They are also adopted as a form of solidarity across the occupied cities and towns: they are organized in a certain area to relieve pressure on neighboring areas.
