In a special episode for the occasion, TV presenter Ricardo Karam hosted Head of the ISF Imad Osman, General Director of General Security Abbas Ibrahim and head of State Security Tony Saliba, giving them airtime for them to wash their hands of the crime. Osman pretended he did not know about perpetrators who should be arrested, although he refused to execute the judicial warrant against former minister Ali Hassan Khalil. Saliba, on the other hand, painted himself as a victim and scapegoat, while Ibrahim justified not appearing before the judiciary by saying he did not receive permission from the concerned minister.
