https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/20967cc3-75e6-4c1b-ac95-df61b630a5cb استمرّت أعمال البناء في مشروع نبع الطاسة في بلدة جرجوع، ليل أمس الأربعاء، رغم القرار القضائي بوقف تنفيذ المشروع، ما أدّى إلى وقوع إشكال بين الأهالي والعاملين فيه. وكان قاضي الأمور المستعجلة في النبطية أحمد مزهر قد أصدر قراراً بوقف المشروع، أمس، وبتكليف لجنة خبراء بيئيين للتحقيق في الأضرار البيئية والمجتمعية التي يمكن للمشروع أن يتسبّب بها، بناءً على الشكوى التي قدّمتها مجموعة «الشعب يريد إصلاح النظام». المشروع الذي تشرف عليه مصلحة مياه الجنوب وتموّله منظّمة اليونيسيف، لم يتقدّم بدراسةٍ بيئية إلى وزارة البيئة إلّا في 21 أيلول الفائت، أي بعد حوالي شهر من البدء بأعمال التنفيذ، ما يُخالف قانون حماية البيئة، بحسب الناشط البيئي بول أبي راشد. يذكر أنّ المشروع يهدف إلى جمع المياه الفائضة عن النبع وجرّها للبلدات التي تعاني من شحّ المياه، بحسب رئيس مصلحة مياه الجنوب وسيم ضاهر. لكنَّ الأهالي الذين اعترضوا على المشروع، يرَونَ أنَّ الفائض غير كافٍ لإنجاز هذا المشروع الضخم، إضافةً إلى الضرر الذي سيتسبّب به عبر اقتلاع الأشجار وتدمير بعض الأراضي الزراعية ومشاريع تربية السمك. وكانت قد انتشرت شائعات عن أنَّ المشروع يهدف إلى تزويد مخيّم للاجئين السوريّين بالماء، لكنَّ بلدية مغدوشة نفت ذلك في بيانٍ لها. This violates the Environmental Protection Law, according to environmental activist Paul Abi Rashed. The project aims to collect surplus water from Nabaa al-Tasseh spring and transport it to the towns that suffer from water scarcity, according to Wassim Daher, head of the Water Authority in the South. However, objectors to the project argue that the surplus does not justify the scale of the project, or the damage it will incur by uprooting trees, and destroying agricultural lands and fish farming projects.
