Protesters and members of the Tashnag party organized a sit-in in front of the Azerbaijan embassy in Lebanon last Friday, against the country’s military operations and attacks on Armenian borders, which began on Monday, before Russia mediated a ceasefire. Azerbaijan had killed, and committed acts of torture and mutilation against Armenian soldiers, mostly women, during the fighting that took place on the borders between the countries on September 12, 13 and 14 –– the most violent in two years.
