https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/27852ce1-95eb-49e5-90e7-f467cb3f52aa جرى تحوير كلمات أغنية «بنت الجيران» المعروفة بمطلعها «سكّر محلّي محطوط على كريمة» حتّى تصبح ملائمة لتقديمها داخل السعودية. فمن ضمن «الانفتاح الثقافي» الذي يروّج له محمد بن سلمان، دُعي ثلاثة نجوم من موسيقى المهرجانات المصريّة، عمر كمال وحسن شاكوش وحمو بيكا، لإحياء حفلة في «موسم الرياض». لكنّ المفاجأة كانت حين أقدم كمال على تحوير كلمات أغنية «بنت الجيران»، مستبدلاً المقطع الذي يقول: «اشرب خمور وحشيش» بـ«اشرب تمور وحليب». يُذكَر أنّ حسن شاكوش وحمو بيكا و17 مغنياً آخر قد مُنعوا من الغناء في مصر في 17 تشرين الثاني الفائت، بقرار من نقابة الموسيقيّين المصرية ورئيسها هاني شاكر الذي اعتبر أنّ جمال الصوت لا يكفي وحده للغناء، بل ينبغي «الالتزام بالقيم العليا للمجتمع والعرف الأخلاقي واختيار الكلمات التي لا تحضّ على رذيلة أو عادات سيئة».
