On Tuesday, two Red Cross vehicles were stuck in traffic jams caused by a motorcade in support of the Director General of Internal Security, Imad Othman. The procession started at Tareeq Jdideh and ended at Othman's house, after passing by the Palace of Justice. The procession came in response to Judge Ghada Aoun's decision last Thursday to prosecute Othman, after he obstructed the implementation of a warrant to subpoena BDL Governor Riad Salameh.
