https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/498a0d20-b987-41a7-b00f-86dc89368c59 بعد يومين من نضال طالبات طرابلس ضدّ الذكورية وفضحهنّ المتحرّش سامر مولوي، ارتأى الإعلامي طوني خليفة أن يسخّر منصّته، أمس الثلاثاء، ليتقيّأ مولوي مرافعته عن نفسه أمام المشاهدين: أنا بريء، يقول، ثمّ يردّ كل ما حصل إلى «حملة افتراء [...] لأنّي إنسان ناجح بالحياة». ليست المرّة الأولى التي يقدّم فيها إعلاميّون مساحةً لمتحرّشين للدفاع عن أنفسهم وإنكار ما ارتكبوه في محاولة لاستمالة الرأي العام، لا بل لمهاجمة الضحايا أيضاً. فقد اعتبر مولوي أنّ ما حصل معه مبالغ به، وأنّ ما نُشر ضدّه على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي يقف وراءه «ناس عم يتسلّوا وضجرانين». يُذكَر أنّ الطالبة غِنى ضنّاوي كانت أوّل من فضح مولوي علناً، لتتبعها عشرات الناجيات، قبل أن يتحرّك الطلّاب ويحتلّوا ثانويّتهم ويلاحقوا المدير لطرد مولوي. ويُحضّر الطلاب حالياً دعوى قانونية ضدّ مولوي، ولم يكتفوا بالإجراءات الإدارية ضدّه، والتي كان آخرها وقفه عن التدريس. Two days after the students of Tripoli rebelled against the patriarchal system and exposed Samer Mawlawi as a sexual harasser, journalist Tony Khalife opened the air on Tuesday to the teacher, allowing him to regurgitate his plea to viewers. Mawlawi said what happened to him was exaggerated, adding that accusatory posts about him on social media were published by "people who are bored and trying to have fun." Student Ghina Dannawi was the first to expose Mawlawi in public, followed by dozens of survivors. The students then proceeded to occupy their high school and demand that the principal expel Mawlawi. The students are currently preparing a legal case against Mawlawi, not content with the administrative steps taken against him, which include most recently his suspension from teaching.
