The Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement reminding people to “follow organizational procedures [...] and submit official requests through Egyptian embassies abroad,” trying to reduce the issue to routine administrative formalities, despite the deportees’ assertion that their visas and documents were in order. The convoy also released a statement clarifying that it “does not have any bias against the Egyptian regime,” emphasizing that its message is directed solely against the Zionist enemy and that its sole goal is to exert international pressure to end the siege on #Gaza.
