https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/4c820005-febb-4ad8-bc21-1658fee9ad27 استأنفت، أمس، الإعلامية رولا بهنام، أعمال الحفر بالمعدّات الثقيلة في العقار 345 في عمشيت، بمحاذاة «مغارة الفقمة» التي تأوي حيوان «فقمة الراهب» المهدّد بالانقراض، بعدما كانت الأعمال في العقار قد توقّفت في تشرين الثاني الماضي نتيجة الاعتراض على الأثر البيئي لهذه الورشة. وجاء استئناف الأعمال بناءً على قرار صادر عن بلدية عمشيت، من دون أن يعرض أصحاب المشروع أي وثيقة متعلّقة بالرخصة الممنوحة لهم من وزارة الأشغال أو تقرير دراسة الأثر البيئي لهذا المشروع. ويقول المهندس والناشط البيئي، فريد أبي يونس، إنّ منفّذي الورشة يخالفون حتّى نص قرار البلدية الذي يمنعهم من إحداث ارتجاجات فوق المغارة. الجدير بالذكر أنّ المسؤولين في اتحاد بلديات جبيل وفي وزارتي الأشغال والبيئة لم يعلّقوا بعد على استئناف الورشة، بينما يتحضّر ناشطون وناشطات لإطلاق حملة لإنقاذ «مغارة الفقمة» من هذا الإعدام المحتّم. Excavation work on the property was halted last November, when objections were raised against the damage to the environment caused by the construction. Amchit municipality issued the decision to resume works, although the project owners did not present any license from the Ministry of Works, or an environmental impact study. Engineer and environmental activist, Farid Abi Younes, says that the site managers are violating the text of the municipality's decision which stipulates that they should not cause tremors above the cave.
