https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/4f0d7fdf-069a-4485-8415-c461032cd63a قدّم رئيس الوزراء نجيب ميقاتي روايته عن غرق قارب طرابلس، أمس الأربعاء، معتبراً أنّ «المنطق» يقول أنّ القارب كان سيغرق بجميع الحالات، بالاستناد إلى مغالطات عرضها ميقاتي تتعلّق بمواصفات المركب وحمولته. وفي مقابلة مع تلفزيون لبنان، ردّ ميقاتي التفاوت الطبقيّ في طرابلس إلى الله الذي «خلقكم طبقات»، ممنّناً الطرابلسيّين بما قدّمته مؤسّساته في الأعوام الـ15 الأخيرة. لم يكتفِ ميقاتي بتحميل ضحايا مركب طرابلس مسؤولية غرقهم، بل انتقد أيضاً أهالي ضحايا انفجار مرفأ بيروت، معتبراً أنّهم «عم يخلطوا المواضيع ببعضها» لدى مطالبتهم بالحفاظ على الأهراءات، وناصحاً إيّاهم بالتركيز على التحقيق. وقد برّر ميقاتي هدم الأهراءات بالمغالطات نفسها التي تروّج لها الحكومة والتي تخالف الآراء الهندسية. On Wednesday, PM Najib Mikati presented his account of the sinking of the Tripoli boat. "Logic" dictated the boat would sink in all cases, he said, basing himself on inaccurate information about the specifications of the boat and its cargo. In an interview with Tele Liban, Mikati commented that class inequality in Tripoli was the work of God who “created you in classes,” reminding Tripolitans to be thankful for the help that his institutions have provided over the last 15 years. After blaming the Tripoli boat victims for drowning, Mikati criticized the families of the Beirut port explosion victims, saying they were “mixing issues together” when they demanded the preservation of the silos, and advised them to focus instead on the investigation.
