LBC gave BDL governor Riad Salameh a platform last night to clear his name from any responsibility over the economic collapse, passing over instead the blame to external parties, from the banks to the Russian-Ukrainian war. Salameh also revealed that Lebanon needs 15-20 billion USD to “take off,” and that the 3 billion USD “that the IMF is talking about are inadequate.” Salameh's televised circus was accompanied by another security masquerade, as State Security raided his home in Rabieh upon the request of Mount Lebanon prosecutor Judge Ghada Aoun and according to the subpoena issued against him.
