Chawki Matta was never far from the art scene, although he had stopped acting in recent years, after a career full of action roles, and characters weaving elegant plots. He shared the screen with major Lebanese and Egyptian actors, notably Farid Shawqi, Nour El-Sherif, Michel Tabet, Leila Karam, Elsie Ferneini and Fouad Charafeddine. Matta took part in dozens of works in cinema, theater and television, including: “Awdat al-Batal," "Al-Mammar al-Akheer," "Naji al-Ali," "Qitat Share'a al-Hamra" and "Qutt Aala Nar."
