Bassil in Keserwan: I’m the victim and Geagea is a spy | باسيل في كسروان: أنا الجريح وجعجع العميل https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/69c42ada-c719-4272-a15c-675b8aa56f1b اتّهم رئيس التيار الوطني الحر جبران باسيل، خلال لقاء انتخابي أمس في دائرة كسروان- جبيل، خصمه رئيس حزب القوات اللبنانية سمير جعجع بالعمالة لإسرائيل وقبض الأموال منها عبر حلفائها الإقليميين لتنفيذ مشاريعها في لبنان، واعتبر أنّ الاقتراع للقوات هو اقتراع لداعش أيضاً. لكنّ باسيل الذي اتّهم جعجع بالعمالة لإسرائيل، تحدّث عن إسرائيل بما يشبه خيبة الأمل: «تركتنا في الجبل وشرق صيدا وتركت الناس في الجنوب وهربت»، محوّلاً معركته الانتخابيّة إلى «معركة وجود» بالنسبة إلى المسيحيّين. أمّا في مواجهة المجموعات التغييرية وقوى المعارضة، فقال باسيل إنّ التصويت للمستقلين أو من يدّعون أنهم من المدني تبديد للأصوات لأنّ هؤلاء المرشحين لن يصلوا إلى المجلس بعدما انفضحت أكاذيبهم، واصفاً نفسه بـ«الجريح الأول في الجمهورية» في انتفاضة 17 تشرين. During an electoral meeting yesterday in the Keserwan-Jbeil district, head of the Free Patriotic Movement Gebran Bassil accused his opponent, head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea, of being an Israeli spy and receiving money from the occupation through its regional allies to implement its projects in Lebanon, and considered that voting for the LF is akin to voting for ISIS. Although Bassil accused Geagea of being an Israeli spy, he spoke of Israel with a hint of disappointment: “They abandoned us in the mountain, in the east of Saida, and abandoned people in the South and left,” turning his electoral battle into a “battle of existence” for Christians.
