Elissar’s body found: Last missing victim of Tripoli collapse Civil Defense teams recovered the body of nurse Elissar Ahmad al-Mir from beneath the rubble of the residential building that collapsed in Tripoli’s al-Qobbeh area on Tuesday evening. She was the last member of the al-Mir family trapped under the debris. With her recovery, Civil Defense announced the end of search and rescue operations at the site. The building collapsed early Saturday morning, killing the father, Ahmad al-Mir, 66, while the mother, Amal, and children Omar and Hadeel were rescued. The funerals for Ahmad and Elissar are scheduled for this afternoon.
