The interception, which began on Wednesday evening, is still ongoing. The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced that the detained activists are being transferred to Israel, where deportation procedures will follow. The flotilla’s social media accounts began posting messages from activists confirmed to have been arrested by Israeli forces, calling their detention illegal and for world governments to act to stop the genocide and break the siege on Gaza.
