Beirut Port Silos demolition | هدم أهراءات مرفأ بيروت: وقاحة واستهتار بالدمّ https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/70aec503-8015-4470-8919-4ea9d6e19d53 اجتمع أهالي ضحايا انفجار المرفأ أمام تمثال المغترب، اليوم الخميس، فور إعلان الحكومة موافقتها على قرار هدم أهراءات المرفأ. وقد اعتبر الأهالي القرارَ جائراً، و«إمعاناً في الوقاحة واستهتاراً بدم الشهداء وسعياً لمحو الجريمة وآثارها». كما دعوا للتحضير لحركةٍ اعتراضيّةٍ واسعة. يُذكَر أنّ الحكومة وافقت اليوم على قرار الهدم بناءً على تقريرٍ أعدّته شركة خطيب وعلمي، علماً أنّ التقرير قد خلُص إلى «أنّه لا يبدو أنّ هناك خطراً وشيكاً من الانهيار الشامل للأهراءات»، حتّى أنّها لم تعدّ دراسة لآلية التدعيم وكلفتها. Families of the port explosion victims gathered near the emigrant statue on Thursday as soon as the government announced its approval to demolish the Beirut port silos. The families said the decision is unjust, shows “excessive insolence, a disdain for the blood of martyrs” and aims to “erase the crime and its traces.” They also called for organizing a larger protest movement. The government approved the silos’ demolition today.
