The students chanted slogans calling for the liberation of Palestine and waved Palestinian flags. Waks was escorted off by security without delivering his speech at the seminar. Pro-Palestine demonstrations are scheduled to take place on June 3 at Freedom Square in the capital, Dakar, calling for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador from the country.
