https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/7f27d1a9-fb1a-47d9-9a79-b7f87368551e في السابع من أيّار الجاري، اعتُقِل طوني خوري بعد انتشار مقطع فيديو يظهر فيه وهو يدوّن عبارة «بشير حيّ فينا» على لافتة انتخابية للحزب السوري القومي الاجتماعي. لكنّ تهمة خوري سرعان ما انتقلت من تشويه لافتة انتخابيّة إلى المشاركة بأحداث الطيونة، ثمّ التحريض على قتل قائد الجيش، وصولاً إلى اتّهامه بالعمالة لإسرائيل. فقد تبيّن إثر توقيف خوري أنّ القاضي فادي عقيقي ادّعى عليه غيابياً في ملف أحداث الطيّونة، علماً أنّ عقيقي قد كُفَّت يده عن ملف الطيّونة ولا صلاحية له بمتابعة التحقيقات فيه. كما ادّعى عقيقي على خوري بالعمالة لصالح العدو والتحريض على قائد الجيش، استناداً إلى منشورات إلكترونية. يذكَر أنّ خوري، وهو مقرّب من القوّات اللبنانية، قد نشط خلال انتفاضة 17 تشرين في منطقة الزوق، وسبق أن تمّ توقيفه مرّتين. On May 7, Tony Khoury was arrested after a video circulated of him spraying the sentence "Bashir lives within us" on a Syrian Social Nationalist Party electoral poster. But the charges against Tony soon turned from defacing a poster, to taking part in the Tayouneh events, to inciting to kill the commander of the army, and then to accusations that he is an Israeli collaborator. Upon Khoury's arrest, it was revealed that Judge Fadi Akiki had accused him in absentia of taking part in the Tayouneh events file, although Akiki had been removed from the Tayouneh case and had no authority to continue investigating it. Akiki also alleged that Khoury was collaborating with the enemy and inciting against the army commander, based on posts Khoury had shared online.
