The protesters demanded a halt to the confiscation of motorcycles and the lifting of the ban, in light of the exorbitant fuel prices and the worsening economic and living crisis, particularly for young people working in the field of delivery services. The decision to ban motorcycles in Saida dates back to 1999, when four judges were assassinated in the city and the perpetrators escaped on motorcycles.
