https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/897a3eb6-1714-42f0-b7b6-3d1e1a8ae4b9 نظّم عشرات الأساتذة وقفةً تضامنيةً أمام وزارة التربية اليوم، احتجاجاً على قرار وزير التربية عبّاس الحلبي الذي قرّر معاقبة رئيسة اللجنة الفاعلة للأساتذة المتعاقدين في التعليم الرسمي الأساسي نسرين شاهين، وفضّ عقدها انتقاماً من نشاطها النقابي ضدّ السياسات التربوية المتبّعة. وتحدّثت شاهين، بالصوت العالي مجدداً، منددّةً بسياسة كمّ الأفواه المقصود منها إسكات كل الأصوات المطلبية لتحصيل حقوق الأساتذة، وذكّرت بملفات الفساد التي سبق أن واجهت الوزير بها، ومنها عدم الشفافية في التعامل مع أموال تعليم اللاجئين وتوقيف مشاريع الدعم لتمريرها عبر الوزارة. ومن الفضائح المالية التي تحدّثت عنها شاهين، الملفات الموجّهة ضد المدير العام في الوزارة خلال العامين الأخيرين، وأبرزها فضائح الشهادات المزوّرة وملفات الرخص التعليمية الممنوحة للجامعات، إضافةً إلى تسديد رواتب بعض موظّفي الوزارة بالدولار الفريش. Dozens of teachers organized a solidarity stand in front of the Ministry of Education today, protesting the decision of the Minister of Education, Abbas Halabi, to punish Nisrine Chahine, head of the committee for contract teachers in basic formal education, by annulling her contract in retaliation for her union activity against adopted educational policies. Chahine’s voice rang out again, denouncing the policy intended to silence all voices demanding teachers' rights. She referred to allegations of corruption she had previously confronted the minister with, including the lack of transparency in dealing with refugee education funds and the suspension of support projects, in order to pass them through the ministry.
