The Iranian regime launched an artillery offensive on the Iraqi Kurdistan area today, killing seven people and injuring 28 others, in the most violent attack on Iraq in the last few days. They claimed that armed Kurdish groups contributed to the spread of “chaos” within Iran. The Tasnim News Agency claimed the attack was a response to armed Kurdish groups and a large quantity of weapons entering Iran’s border cities, while the Iraqi Foreign Minister simply condemned the attack and considered it a unilateral provocation act.
