In the post that preoccupied the Cybercrime Bureau and the Public Prosecution office, Azzi described Bou Jaoude as “one of Ibrahim Kanaan's posse.” According to Azzi, the brother of MP Kanaan also called him to persuade him to take down the post. But Azzi considered that his post was “a human reaction to the tyranny and violence that was justified by the racist mayor.” Azzi was summoned following a libel and defamation complaint submitted against him by Bou Jaoude last Monday.
