https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/8c6adf6e-9855-4298-b1b2-19713677e1cc تحت هتافات «يسقط نهج السلطة» و«يا عيب الشوم عليكن»، أعلن ممثّلو القوى السياسيّة داخل نقابة المحرّرين فوزهم بانتخابات النقابة التي تحرم الكثير من الصحافيّين من الانتساب إليها حتّى لا تفقد السلطة الأكثريّة داخلها. وقد وقف المحرّرون الفائزون ليعلنوا فوزهم مكلَّلاً بعار تمثيلهم لقوى سياسيّة أوصلت البلد إلى الانهيار، لكنّها ما زالت تجد أتباعاً لها داخل النقابة الهَرِمة. الجدير بالذكر أنّ انتفاضة 17 تشرين قد أسفرت عن تأسيس «نقابة الصحافة البديلة» التي شاركت رمزياً في انتخابات نقابة السلطة عبر المرشّحة أليسار قبيسي، لتتمكّن من مراقبة العمليّة الانتخابيّة وتوثيق الانتهاكات والمخالفات لمتابعة المعركة القضائية والقانونية ضدّ نقابة السلطة. وبعد انتهاء العملية الانتخابية، أصدرت النقابة البديلة بياناً أعلنت فيه المواجهة المفتوحة مع نقابة السلطة، وانطلاق معركة تحريرها.
