Over 120,000 sealed envelopes from diaspora countries were packed into shipping bags, following the end of the second round of diaspora elections this Monday morning. The bags were packed in sealed urns which will be sent to Lebanon by DHL under diplomatic escort, with a GPS tracker inside each urn. The registration committees will receive the boxes on May 15 –– the day of local elections –– where they will be sorted with the rest of the votes, to issue the final diaspora vote tally.
