MP Firas Hamdan posted his intervention in the parliamentary legislative session held last Tuesday, during which he defended approving the draft law to compensate the victims of the October 17 popular uprising and their families, which he submitted last June. Nabih Berri dropped the "urgency" of the draft law, while Berri guards were the main security party responsible for suppressing October 17 demonstrators.
