A group of protesters stormed Akkar MP Tarek El Merhebi’s apartment in Beirut, as he was out, and broke some of his furniture in retaliation for his role in smuggling networks in Akkar. They also documented finding military rifles. Merhebi is in business partnerships with George Ibrahim, who owns the land that stored the fuel tank that exploded on Sunday at dawn, in Tleil, Akkar.
