https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/926fef6b-9437-458f-9661-49de8ba06459 زار وزير الخارجيّة السوري أسعد الشيباني بيروت، اليوم الجمعة، حيث التقى الرئيس اللبناني جوزاف عون ورئيس الحكومة نواف سلام ووزير الخارجية يوسف رجّي، من دون أن يلتقي رئيس مجلس النوّاب نبيه برّي. وفي أعلى زيارة دبلوماسيّة سوريّة إلى لبنان منذ سقوط نظام الأسد، تبلّغ لبنان إلغاء المجلس الأعلى اللبناني السوري الذي تشكّل في 1991 بين الياس الهراوي وحافظ الأسد للتنسيق الأمني بعد نهاية الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية وخلال فترة الوصاية السوريّة في لبنان. ووصف الطرفان الزيارة بالتاريخية، إذ أكّدت على اعتماد الطرق الدبلوماسيّة واللجان المشتركة لحلّ القضايا العالقة بين البلدين، كقضيّة المعتقلين السوريين في سجن رومية واللاجئين السوريين في لبنان وضبط الحدود والتنسيق الاستخباراتي. كما أكّد الشيباني نيّة تطوير العلاقات الاستثمارية والاقتصادية بين البلدين، معتبراً أنَّ المناخ السياسي الحالي في المنطقة وإعادة إعمار سوريا يجب أن ينعكسا إيجاباً على لبنان.Al-Sheibani in Beirut: A new chapter with Lebanon Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Sheibani visited Beirut on Friday, meeting President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji, but not Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. Both sides described the visit as historic, highlighting the adoption of diplomatic channels and joint committees to address outstanding issues, including Syrian detainees in Roumieh prison, Syrian refugees in Lebanon, border control, and intelligence coordination. Al-Sheibani also stressed his commitment to developing investment and economic ties between the two countries, noting that the current regional political climate and Syria’s reconstruction should have a positive effect on Lebanon.
