The judiciary released depositor Sali Hafez today, after interrogating her about her raid on BLOM bank. Acting First Investigative Judge in Beirut, Charbel Abu Samra, reduced Hafez's fine from LBP 5 million to LBP 1 million, and issued her a six-month travel ban. In a call with Megaphone, Hafez's lawyer Ali Abbas confirmed that a final interrogation session is scheduled for October 19, during which Sali will appear alongside Abdel Rahman Zakaria and Mohammad Rustom, who helped her storm the bank. Sali Hafez has been out of sight since the raid on September 14 and turned herself in yesterday evening, while Zakaria and Rustom were detained for several days before also being released on bail.
