https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/a696389e-e648-4813-8d6f-d79a95be73fc عادت إحدى المرامل في منطقة الهبارية الجنوبية إلى العمل بوتيرة سريعة، مستكملةً المجزرة البيئية التي بدأت منذ عام 2017، وذلك بعد نيل المرملة إذناً من وزارة الداخلية لسحب «الستوك»، ممّا يعني عملياً منحه غطاءً لمواصلة العمل، وفقاً لرئيس جمعية «الجنوبيون الخضر» هشام يونس. وأشار يونس لـ«ميغافون» إلى أنّ «الجمعية قدّمت العديد من الإخبارات منذ العام 2017، إلا أنه سرعان ما كان يعود العمل في المرملة مرّةً بعد أخرى». وقد تواصلت الجمعية، هذه المرّة، مع وزير البيئة ناصر ياسين الذي قدّم كتابين لوزارة الداخلية والمدعي العام البيئي. وباتت المرملة، التي تقع على ارتفاع 750 متراً بالقرب من منحدرات حرمون، عُرضةً للسيول والانجرافات مما يُعرّض المحيط السكني القريب منها لمخاطر كبيرة. كما أن أعمال المرملة حوّلت الأرض إلى «أرض هشّة» مما يُعيق امتصاصها للسيول، وهذا ما يحمل تأثيرات سلبية على المدى المتوسط والبعيد. الجدير بالذكر أن صاحب المرملة أسعد حجول، يشغل منصب عضو بلدي في الهبارية. The sand works have also hindered the aquifer absorption of water, which has short and long-term negative environmental effects.
