Supporters of the Amal movement reiterated their control over a number of faculties and branches at the Lebanese University, yesterday, during celebrations after Nabih Berri was elected speaker of parliament. Amal supporters raised giant photos and banners of Berri on university buildings. A photo of Berri covered the campus building at the Faculty of Information-UNESCO, where Amal widely dominates the student political scene.
