Journalist Marina Ovsyannikova revealed, after her release on Tuesday night, that she was questioned for 14 hours non-stop and deprived of sleep for two consecutive nights after her arrest last Sunday. She had stormed the live broadcast of Russian Channel One, raising a banner that denounced the propaganda of the Russian regime. During the interrogation, Ovsyannikova was prevented from contacting her relatives, was not provided with legal aid, and was fined 30,000 rubles ($280).
