A quarrel erupted when state security personnel attempted to make use of their official capacity to fill up their private cars, while an army patrol was working to organize turns in front of the station. The General Directorate of State Security issued a statement dismissing the incident, which led to shots fired in the air, as a "personal dispute." The station closed its doors after the altercation, leaving queues of cars waiting without gasoline.
