https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/c53c4bfc-4b12-4123-b387-51c4bac89c49 رحل الروائي المصري صنع الله إبراهيم، اليوم، عن عمر 88 عاماً بعد صراع مع المرض أجبره على ملازمة فراش المستشفى خلال الأشهر الأخيرة. درس الحقوق واعتقله نظام عبد الناصر في 1959 لانتمائه إلى منظمة «حدتو» المصرية الشيوعية، وبعد الاعتقال توجّه إلى الصحافة، فعمل لوكالة الأنباء المصرية والألمانية، ثم توجّه إلى موسكو لدراسة التصوير السينمائي قبل أن يعود إلى مصر. من الصحافة توجّه صنع الله إلى الرواية، وترك 15 روايةً، أولها «إنسان السد العالي» (1967)، وآخرها «1970» (2020)، وبينهما روايات «ذات» و«وردة» و«أميركانلي» و«التلصّص» و«الجليد»، وغيرها. كما قدّم 5 قصص قصيرة، أهمها «تلك الرائحة» و«الثعبان»، إضافةً إلى 6 أعمال للأطفال. عاش صنع الله حياته، كاتباً يسارياً، وثّق في أعماله تجاربه الشخصية بالتزامن مع الأحداث السياسية في مصر والمنطقة العربية. وعارض مختلف أشكال الحُكم التي عايشها منذ نشأته حتى سنواته الأخيرة في القاهرة. رفض «جائزة ملتقى القاهرة للإبداع الروائي العربي» في 2003، وعلّل رفضه بكون الجائزة «صادرة عن حكومة تقمع شعبها وتحمي الفساد وتسمح للسفير الإسرائيلي بالبقاء في مصر».Sonallah Ibrahim (1937-2025) The renowned Egyptian novelist Sonallah Ibrahim passed away today at the age of 88 after a battle with illness that confined him to a hospital bed in recent months. Ibrahim studied law and was arrested by Abdel Nasser’s regime in 1959 for his affiliation with Egypt’s Democratic Movement for National Liberation (HADITU), a communist organization. Following his release, Ibrahim pursued a career in journalism, working for Egyptian and German news agencies. He then moved to Moscow to study cinematography before returning to Egypt. Sonallah transitioned from journalism to novel writing, leaving behind 15 novels. His first novel was Insan al-Sadd al-Ali (1967), and his last novel was 1970 (2020). In between, he wrote novels such as Zaat, Warda, Amreekanli, The Stealth, and Ice, among others. Sonallah also wrote five short stories, the most notable of which are That Smell and The Snake, as well as six children's books. Sonallah lived his life as a leftist writer, documenting his personal experiences amid political events in Egypt and the Arab world. He opposed the various forms of governance he witnessed from his youth until his final years in Cairo.
