https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/d13f5d32-ffcb-4d80-b697-75a70d1953d3 #مغارة_جعيتا، «ثامن عجائب الدنيا»، المَرفق العام الخاضع لإشراف وزارة السياحة، تحوّل إلى موقعٍ لحفلٍ تمهيديّ لزفاف سارة شمّاس وألكسندر ويدمان. بتنسيقٍ من روبيرت هيكل، وإحياءٍ من فرقة «8eArt»، غنّى المعازيم داخل المغارة، وصدحت الآلات الموسيقية، والتصفيق، ورقصوا، ودبكوا، بعد أن دخلوا المغارة بالقوارب، بنسخةٍ رديئة عن زفّات البندقية في إيطاليا. حاولت «ميغافون» التواصل مع بلدية #جعيتا، من دون جواب. ما تزال أسئلة تحمُّل مسؤولية الضرر البيئي من دون جواب، وكذلك الأسئلة المتعلّقة بمَن منح إذناً لهذا الحفل، من بين الوزارات المعنية؟ ناهيك بما يتعلّق بسؤال العام والخاص، وكيف يُحجَز تُراثٌ وطنيّ لمثل هذه المناسبات الضيّقة. تحديث: وردنا من عضو بلدية جعيتا ومدير موظّفي المغارة عماد صفير الرد التالي: الأنظمة الصوتية والإضاءة راعت الشروط المطلوبة، وكان عددها محدوداً، وبجودةٍ أشرف عليها مختصّون، وليس كما يظهر في الفيديوهات المصوّرة بالهواتف. أضاف أنّ الحفل لم يتضمّن أكلاً ولا شرباً واستمرّ لـ30 دقيقةً، وأنّ ريعه عاد لتنظيف المغارة والاهتمام بها، وأنّ موظّفين من البلدية انتشروا داخل المغارة خلال الحفل لحماية المواقع الحسّاسة، وأنّ البلدية ستبذل جهدها كي لا تُعاد مثل هذه الهفوات. Update: We received the following response from Imad Sfeir, a member of the Jeita municipality and director of the grotto’s staff. The sound and lighting systems met all required standards, were limited in number, and were overseen by specialists, contrary to what appears in videos filmed on mobile phones. He added that the event lasted 30 minutes, did not include food or drinks, and that its proceeds went toward cleaning and maintaining the grotto. Municipal employees were present inside the grotto during the event to protect sensitive areas, and the municipality will take all necessary measures to prevent similar lapses in the future.
