https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/d47409d9-fd7d-430b-9b2a-3883c49cfbf7 اختير الفيلم العراقي الكلاسيكي «#سعيد_أفندي» ضمن قسم كلاسيكيات مهرجان «كان» السينمائي للعام 2025، ليكون أوّل فيلم عراقي يصل إلى هذه الفئة. الفيلم من إخراج كاميران حسني ومُقتبَس عن قصّةٍ لإدمون صبري، ويعود للعام 1956، وقد خضع لعملية ترميم هذا العام. يعود هذا الفيلم إلى الحياة إذاً بعد 70 عاماً من صناعته، بفضل عملية ترميم يدوية بدقّة 4K، أُنجزَت في المعهد الوطني السمعي البصري الفرنسي، انطلاقاً من النسخة السالبة الأصلية ومقاسها 35 ملم ونسخة الصوت الضوئي 35 ملم. وذلك ضمن مشروع «سينماتك العراق» الذي يهدف إلى حماية وتعزيز الأرشيف السينمائي في العراق، بعد الأزمات التي ضربت البلاد وأصابت التراث التاريخي ووضع أرشيف السينما والإعلام. أمّا فريق الترميم، فتألّف من أودري بيرين (INA) وأيمن نحلة وليا تشيزينا (Expertise France)، بإدارة وإشراف وارث كويش. وتدور أحداث الفيلم (86 دقيقة) في خمسينات القرن الماضي، حيث ينتقل «أستاذ المدرسة سعيد أفندي مع عائلته إلى منزلٍ جديد في حي شعبي متواضع في بغداد»، ليكتشف في مسكنه الجديد تحدّيات اجتماعية جديدة، بينه وبين جيرانه، وكذلك بين أبنائه وأبنائهم. Restored version of "Said Effendi": First Iraqi film in Cannes Classics The classic Iraqi film "Said Effendi" has been selected for the Classics section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, making it the first Iraqi film to make the cut. Directed by Kameran Hosni and based on a novel by Edmond Sabri, the 1956 film underwent a full restoration this year. Now revived 70 years after its original release, the film was meticulously restored in 4K resolution from the original 35mm negative and a 35mm optical sound print through a frame-by-frame manual process at the French National Audiovisual Institute (INA). The restoration is part of Cinémathèque Iraq, an initiative to preserve and revitalize Iraq's cinematic archive, which has suffered greatly due to national crises and damage to the country's cultural and media heritage. The restoration team includes Audrey Birrien (INA), Ayman Nahle and Léa Cesena (Expertise France), supervised by Wareth Kwaish. The 86-minute film is set in 1950s Baghdad. It follows schoolteacher Said Effendi as he moves with his family to a new house in a modest neighborhood, where he encounters a range of social challenges between him and his neighbors, as well as between his children and their children.
