https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/d738a040-9ce3-4ce4-8883-a2790fd25958 أدلى «حفّار القبور»، أمس الأربعاء، بشهادته أمام لجنة مجلس الشيوخ الأمريكي للعلاقات الخارجية، باعتباره شاهد عيان على المقابر الجماعية التي لا تزال تدفن فيها قوّات الأسد ضحايا التعذيب والمعتقلين السوريّين. وروى «حفّار القبور» خلال جلسة مناقشة سياسة الولايات المتحدّة الخارجيّة تجاه سوريا، بدعمٍ من «المنظّمة السورية للطوارئ»، تفاصيل تكليفه بالإشراف على دفن الجثث منذ منتصف 2011 وحتّى 2018 في مقبرة نجها، وهي إحدى المقابر الجماعيّة، التي تستعملها قوّات الأسد لطمس آثار جرائم قتل المعتقلين تحت التعذيب. وكان «حفّار القبور» قد حدّد إلى جانب صحيفة «نيويورك تايمز» و«رابطة معتقلي ومفقودي صيدنايا» موقع مقبرتَي نجها والقطيفة الجماعيّتين في ضواحي دمشق عبر الأقمار الصناعيّة في 16 آذار الفائت. كما مثل «حفّار القبور» أمام المحكمة العليا في كوبلنز، ألمانيا، ضمن قضيّة العقيد السابق في المخابرات السوريّة أنور رسلان والذي حُكم عليه بالسجن المؤبّد. On Wednesday, the "Gravedigger" testified before the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, as a witness to the mass graves in which Assad's forces are still burying torture victims and Syrian detainees. During a session discussing US foreign policy towards Syria, the Gravedigger, with the support of the Syrian Emergency Task Force, recounted details of his duties supervising the burials of bodies from mid-2011 until 2018 in the Najha cemetery, one of the mass graves used by Assad's forces to erase traces of crimes against detainees who died under torture. The Gravedigger, along with the New York Times and the Association of Detainees and The Missing in Sednaya Prison, had located two mass graves at Najha and al-Qutayf in the suburbs of Damascus via satellite, last March.
