Activists storm Ministry of Public Works | ناشطون يقتحمون وزارة الأشغال https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/d8263d55-3a97-495e-92a4-920b43dbe7c6 اقتحم ناشطون مقرّ وزارة الأشغال العامّة في الحازمية، اليوم الجمعة، وأصرّوا على مقابلة الوزير علي حميّة لمساءلته حول خطّة عمله المتعلّقة بملفات الفساد والهدر في الوزارة. وسُئِل الوزير حميّة عن عددٍ من الملفّات، كالنقل المشترك وميزانيّة الوزارة وإعادة تفعيل مرفأ بيروت وحصّة الوزارة من قرض البنك الدولي. وفي حين حاول الوزير الإجابة على الأسئلة، تفادى مناقشة ملف المتعهّدين، معتبراً أنّه غير مسؤول عن فساد الماضي. Activists stormed the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works in Hazmieh, on Friday, and insisted on meeting Minister Ali Hamie to question him about his work plan regarding corruption and waste in the ministry. Minister Hamie was asked about several issues including public transport, the ministry's budget, the reactivation of the port of Beirut, and the ministry's share of the World Bank loan. While the minister answered a few questions, he refused to discuss the issue of contractors, arguing that he was not responsible for past corruption.
