March of Millions in Sudan against military | مليونيّة في السودان ضدّ العسكر https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/d9096042-3d43-4347-9297-24e847955ad6 قصدت «مليونيّة 4 يناير» السودانية الشارع، اليوم الثلاثاء، للمطالبة بإسقاط المجلس السيادي العسكري برئاسة عبد الفتاح البرهان. وقد تفرّد الأخير بالحكم مع تقديم رئيس الحكومة الانتقالية عبد الله حمدوك استقالته، الأحد الفائت، بعد أكثر من شهرٍ على انقلاب العسكر على الحكومة الانتقالية. وقد حاولت قوّات الأمن السودانيّة فضّ التظاهرات بالغاز المسيل للدموع والرصاص الحي قرب قصر الرئاسة، كما قطعت الطرقات المؤديّة إلى مقر قيادة الجيش منعاً لوصول الاحتجاجات إليه. تعود السياسة السودانيّة بذلك إلى المربّع الأوّل، بسيناريو مشابه للتظاهرات اليوميّة الرافضة لحكم العسكر بقيادة عمر البشير عام 2019، والتي انتهت بانتصار مكوّنات الثورة بفضل ضغط الشارع. The January 4 March of Millions took place in Sudan today, on Tuesday, to demand the overthrow of the Military Sovereign Council headed by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. Al-Burhan became the sole ruler after Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok resigned last Sunday, over a month after the military coup against his transitional government. Sudanese security forces tried to break up the demonstrations with teargas and live bullets near the presidential palace, and blocked roads leading to the military headquarters to prevent protesters from reaching it. Sudanese politics thus return to a scenario similar to the daily protests that rejected Omar al-Bashir’s military rule in 2019, and ended in a victory for the revolution as a result of street pressure.
