https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/e13ab2f6-bcd2-420e-8190-7962685f7458 قُتِلت الصحافية شيرين أبو عاقلة عمداً. هذه هي الخلاصة التي توصّل إليها تحقيق أجرته «فورينسيك أركيتاكتشر» ووحدة الهندسة الجنائية في مؤسسة الحق، والذي تمّ بوساطة التصميم الرقمي وإعادة البناء البصرية والمادية لموقع الجريمة. وتوصّل التحقيق إلى أنه كان واضحاً لقوات الاحتلال أنّ شيرين وزملاءها صحافيّون، وسُتراتِهم وخُوَذهم الواقية كانت مرئية ومقروءة من مكان تمركز الجنود الإسرائيليين، وكان هدف إطلاق النار القتل إذ أنّ الرصاصات استقرت على علوّ فوق الكتف ولم يتمّ إطلاق الرصاص إلا حين كان الصحافيون على مرأى من الجنود. كما دحض التحقيق المزاعم الإسرائيلية بأنّ الهدف من إطلاق النار كان الردّ على مسلّحين فلسطينيين كانوا متواجدين في موقع الصحافيين نفسه، إذ لم يتمّ رصد أي إطلاقٍ للنار قبل الرصاصات الإسرائيلية، وذلك بعد تحليل الأصوات التي رُصِدت في مقاطع الفيديو التي لم تُظهر تواجد أيّ أفراد في المسافة الفاصلة بين الصحافيين وجنود الاحتلال. يُذكر أنّ قوات الاحتلال اغتالت شيرين أبو عاقلة خلال تغطيتها الهجوم الإسرائيلي على مخيّم جنين في 11 أيار الماضي، واعترفت سلطة الاحتلال باحتمال أن تكون عملية القتل تمّت عن غير قصد بعد أن نفت مسؤولية جنودها. Journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was deliberately murdered. This is what a Forensic Architecture and Al-Haq’s Forensic Architecture Investigation Unit report concluded, using digital design, audio analysis, and 3D reconstruction of the crime scene. The investigation revealed that it was clear to the occupation forces that Shireen and her colleagues were journalists, as their protective jackets and helmets were visible from where the Israeli soldiers stood. Also, the shots were meant to kill as the bullets were high above the shoulder, and were only fired when the journalists were in view of the soldiers. The report refuted Israeli claims that they fired in response to the presence of armed Palestinians in the same area as the reporters. No shooting was detected before the Israeli bullets after analysis of sounds from videos showing no other individuals in the area between the journalists and occupation forces. Israeli occupation forces assassinated Abu Akleh as she was covering the Israeli attack on the Jenin camp on May 11, 2022.
