In his last media appearance before the phase of pre-election silence, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah appeared in a televised speech –– his third this week –– and addressed voters in Baalbek-Hermel, calling on them to protect the resistance and its weapons, and protect “this finger” which he raises during his speeches. Nasrallah went over the headlines of electoral campaigns competing against Hezbollah, making fun of some he considered to promote “eating and drinking,” as well as swimming and the sea. He claimed that some people want to walk around naked, and called a candidate an idiot.
