https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/e5d443f2-1c36-4d15-9694-de384258ccb9 أحرق عدد من أبناء تل حياة العكّارية مخيّماً للاجئين السوريين في البلدة، أمس الأحد، كـ«ردّة فعل» على قتل الشاب دياب خويلد. وكان خويلد قد فُقد مساء الجمعة بعد توجّهه إلى المخيّم لتحصيل بعض الأموال، وعُثر على جثته مشوّهةً في اليوم التالي، قبالة شاطئ البحر في المقيطع المحاذية بحسب ما قال أحد أقاربه لميغافون. وفيما تتابع القوى الأمنية تحقيقاتها، غادرت بعض العائلات السورية البلدة خوفاً من ردّات فعل إضافية، بالتزامن مع حملات تحريضية سياسية وحزبية ضد اللاجئين والدعوات الصادرة لترحيلهم عن لبنان. ليست المرّة الأولى التي تُنزَل فيها عقوبةٌ جماعية باللاجئين على خلفية مشاكل فردية، فقد سبق أن أُحرق مخيّمٌ للاجئين في بشرّي في تشرين الثاني 2020 بعد مقتل شاب من آل طوق على يد عامل سوري. كما أُحرقَت مخيّمات للاجئين في المنية ودير الأحمر بين عامي 2019 و2020. Several residents of Tal Hayat in Akkar set the town’s Syrian refugee camp on fire yesterday, as “a reaction” to the murder of Diab Khuwaylid. The young man had gone missing on Friday after he headed to the refugee camp in order to collect money he was owed. His mutilated body was found the next day on the shore of the neighboring town of Mqaitaa, according to what one of his relatives told Megaphone. While security forces are currently investigating the incident, some Syrian families left the town for fear of any additional reactions, amid political and partisan campaigns against refugees and calls to deport them from Lebanon.
