Palestinian prisoner Khalil Awawdeh ended a hunger strike which lasted 182 days on Wednesday, after the Israeli occupation agreed to his demands and set a date for his release on October 2, 2022. He has been under administrative detention since December 27, 2021. Awawdeh’s release was one of the terms of the August 7 ceasefire between the occupation and the Islamic Jihadist movement, of which he is a member. However, the Israeli occupation authorities tried to circumvent the terms and extended Awawdeh’s detention on August 20. Palestinian prisoners continue their escalation against the administration of occupation jails.
