The Foundation denounced the threats in a statement titled “Let’s work together to protect Palestinian cultural life.” Safadi criticized “thugs who threaten and attack cultural events, parties and marches that they have never heard of before, under the pretext of customs, traditions and beliefs, and none of whom are held to account."
