Shamaluna, a coalition of Lebanon’s four northern districts, was launched yesterday, on Sunday, in Kfarhazir, Koura. The coalition unites Koura, Zgharta, Bcharre and Batroun, which form one electoral district in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Members of the coalition presented their political vision, which they considered to be a continuation of the October 17 uprising and a translation of its demands.
