https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/ef8ea539-0103-4b06-8d91-91de4311ac02 نفّذ أهالي ضحايا انفجار مرفأ بيروت، اليوم الخميس، وقفةً احتجاجية أمام تمثال المغترب في المرفأ في ذكرى مرور عام وثلاثة أشهر على الانفجار. وجدّد الأهالي ثقتهم بالمحقق العدلي طارق بيطار مذكّرين أنّه الجهة الوحيدة الصالحة لمحاسبة المشتبه بهم في ملف انفجار المرفأ، وليس المجلس الأعلى لمحاكمة الرؤساء والوزراء الذي اعتبره الأهالي «مسيّساً». وحذّر الأهالي في وقفتهم القاضي حبيب مزهر الذي ينظر في طلب ردّ القاضي بيطار من عرقلة التحقيق، كما توجّهوا إلى كل من النيابة العامة التمييزية ومجلس الدفاع الأعلى ووزارة الداخلية مطالبين بتنفيذ مذكرات التوقيف والإحضار التي أصدرها القاضي بيطار بحقّ المدّعى عليهم. وكان القاضي بيطار قد علّق تحقيقاته اليوم مؤقتاً ريثما تصدر محكمة الاستئناف في بيروت قرارها بطلب الردّ المقدّم من المدّعى عليه يوسف فنيانوس. The families of the port explosion victims organized a stand-in facing the immigrant statue at the port, to commemorate fifteen months since the explosion. They reiterated their trust in judicial investigator Tarek Bitar, restating that he is the only legitimate authority to prosecute suspects in the port explosion case, not the High Council for Prosecuting Ministers and Presidents, which they considered to be “politicized.” The families also warned Judge Habib Mezher, who is looking into the removal request of Judge Bitar, against obstructing the investigation, and called on the Public Prosecution Office, the Higher Defense Council and the Interior Ministry to implement the arrest warrants and summons issued by Bitar. Judge Bitar put his investigation temporarily on hold today, until the Beirut Court of appeals issued its decision regarding the removal request, submitted by former Minister Youssef Fenianos.
