Fahmi the killer | القاتل فهمي https://video.megaphone.news/videos/watch/f279964d-f057-4c96-9de2-f9134acd4f30 للمرة الثانية، يعتدي عناصر مكافحة الشغب ومرافقو وزير الداخلية محمد فهمي على أهالي ضحايا انفجار المرفأ وعدد من المتظاهرين، حضروا إلى منزل فهمي في خطوةٍ تصعيدية ضدّه. وحضرت أعداد هائلة من عناصر مكافحة الشغب، لم يجدوا أي مانع من ضرب المتواجدين بالهراوات واستفزاز الأهالي بعبارتٍ تسخّف معاناتهم وتتماشى مع النهج التشبيحي للأجهزة الأمنية. وكان الأهالي قد وضعوا توابيت رمزية أمام المبنى مع صور لضحايا الانفجار، بعدما اقتحموا الباحة مجتازين عدد من البوّابات الحديدية، ، بخطوةٍ مفاجِئة لم يُعلنوا عنها من قبل. ويأتي هذا التحرّك من باب الضغط على فهمي، للتراجع عن قراره الذي يغطّي على المُدّعى عليهم، لا سيّما المدير العام للأمن العام عباس ابراهيم. Fahmi the killer: Assaulting families and protecting perpetrators For the second time, members of the riot police and bodyguards of Interior Minister Mohammed Fahmi assaulted families of the port explosion victims as well as a number of protestors who marched to Fahmi's residence in a gesture of escalation against him. Huge numbers of riot police were brought in and officers had no issue beating demonstrators with batons and provoking people with comments that ridiculed their suffering—in line with the usual thuggish approach of security agencies. The demonstrators placed symbolic coffins along with pictures of the victims at the entrance of the building after they managed to get through its metal gates, in a surprise move that they had not announced ahead of time.
