He documented the neglect that 70 patients are facing, many of whom suffer from malnutrition. Germs, fleas, and insects have infested all corners of the building, even the food. The center, which is supposed to treat people with mental and neurological diseases, has resorted to tying some patients to their beds with ropes. According to Shoman, more than one patient has recently died inside the center. He remarked that the center receives LBP 900 million annually from the Ministry of Health.
